Broomstick - 2 Day 2 Night Racing Maxi Sailing Adventure

Broomstick was built in South Africa to

win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race.

From there she went on to compete in

many of the world's most famous blue

water events including the Sydney to

Hobart. As a true Maxi, she is big, comfortable and very fast. She finished

racing in 2000 and was converted to

charter in 2001 – but beware!! Her racing

spirit still remains!!

You can participate in all activities such

as snorkelling, bushwalking and helping

to sail a true Maxi or simply sit back and

just take it all in, the choice is yours.

The Broomstick crew take great care of you while showing you the best the Whitsundays has to offer.

Trip Cost - 2 day 2 night:

shared accommodation $359 p/p

Additional Charges - Whitsundays Australia
*Environmental Management Charge - EMC $39 p/p
**Stinger Suit - $15 p/p

*To ensure the ongoing care and management of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park there is a fee known as the Environmental Management Charge (or EMC) levied by Queensland Parks & Wildlife on all passengers, on all boats that enter the park. The cost varies depending on the vessel.

** While the risk of a jellyfish sting is minimal and their presence seasonal, it is advisable that visitors entering the water use a stinger suit if possible. This is usually a stocking like body suit that offers protection from contact with a jellyfish while still allowing the enjoyment of getting wet.

These additional charges are payable when checking in or when boarding your vessel.
