Samuari Whitsunday is an awesome racing yacht. She has participated in offshore maxi yacht races, for example in the 'Burns Philp South Pacific Maxi Championship' in 1981 and in the famous Sydney-Hobart yacht race. Samurai is very comfortable with loads of space on deck and below, if you ask the skipper nicely he will let you take the helm. (have a steer)

Dives can be booked on board Samurai at very low prices (first dive is FREE), Samurai is equipped with brand new dive and snorkel gear, the snorkel gear is included at no extra cost. Whitehaven Beach is on the itinerary and we also serve great food, freshly prepared on board, and plenty of it.

To ensure the ongoing care and management of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park there is a fee known as the Environmental Management Charge (or EMC) levied by Queensland Parks & Wildlife on all passengers, on all boats that enter the park, our Samurai price includes E.M.C.

While the risk of a jellyfish sting is minimal and their presence seasonal, it is advisable that visitors entering the water use a stinger suit if possible. This is usually a stocking like body suit that offers protection from contact with a jellyfish while still allowing the enjoyment of getting wet, our Samurai Whitsunday price includes stinger suits.
