Long Island Resort does have the usual facilities that one could expect from an award winning 160 room three and a half star island resort. It has restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts, kids club (4-14 years), activities, bars, nightly entertainment and so much more. Long Island’s accommodation enhances the natural ambience of an island setting, we aim to allow privacy and ensure the highest level of service whilst still ensuring an intimate getaway.

Enjoy the magic of nature with 20 km of scenic walking tracks, explore the 2500 acres of national park and palm fringed beaches – ideal for all ages and fitness levels. For those who enjoy the great outdoors or simply wish to enjoy the complete Long Island experience, you may wish to completely circumnavigate the Island by foot. You will endure 9 hours of walking/hiking/climbing but the memories will last forever.

Kids and Families

Long Island Resort epitomizes family fun and entertainment. Catering for all ages and budgets Long Island Resort ensures there is fun for everyone!

When peace and quiet is what Mum and Dad desire our experienced Kids Club staff are at hand to entertain with plenty of great activities for the children. They will enjoy an array of supervised activities ranging from a treasure hunt, arts and crafts, face painting, fish/bird feeding and much, much more!!!

Our professional qualified Kids Club staff care for children from 4 to 14 years of age all year round. There is no charge for this service, it is provided to ensure everyone can enjoy all the wonders of Long Island Resort. Children will form friendships with other children affording parents the freedom to enjoy the peace and tranquillity this island paradise provides.

Parents can even enjoy a quiet dinner with Kids Club catering for kids at dinner time too. In fact, the kids will be having so much fun, parents can simply disappear!

Morning session runs from 9am to 12pm.
Evening session runs from 5pm to 7pm.

If your child is under the age of 4years, we can organise Baby-sitting in your room for an additional charge. Baby sitting is done by off duty, professional staff in the comfort of your hotel room.
